To promote marital and family harmony.
To actively work for creating a dowry free society without adversely effecting the institution of marriage, family structure and implication of innocents.
To create awareness about current dowry/cruelty/harassment related laws and their detrimental effects on families including husband's mother, father, sister, brothers and their children.
To discourage single parenting and live-in relationship to safe guard child welfare and discourage child abuse.
To safe guard Elder's safety and respect in society. Discourage Elder abuse by Daughter-in-Law.
To bring dowry /cruelty related offenses under civil laws and/or to make these offenses bailable.
Pursue amendments/reform in existing laws and legal/police/government procedures.
To analyze and monitor the strategy, policy and implementation of the Judiciary/Government /Legislation and police, related to tackling dowry /family problems. To engage with these authorities by seeking clarifications, providing justifiable arguments and representation on matters of non-compliance.
To work to ensure speedy trial and justice to all by reducing backlog in courts and by other judicial changes.
To help victims of misuse of dowry/cruelty/harassment related laws spread all over the world by establishing telephone help-line, legal aid, counseling, support and other means.
To take up issues related to Human Rights Violations and violation of Fundamental Rights as per Indian constitution and raise these issues at appropriate platforms.
To promote gender equality and reduce gender discrimination.
To mobilize interested people and victims all over the world, and co-ordinate collective action to achieve our aims and objectives.
To collaborate with different sections of society, other organizations working towards similar goals, women organizations, NRI organizations, Government bodies, legal authorities etc for the betterment of civilized society.
To perform all such acts as may be necessary for the achievements and accomplishment of the above mentioned aims and objectives.
All the incomes, earnings, movable/immovable properties of the society shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and objects only as said forth in the memorandum of the society and no profit thereof shall be paid off and transferred directly and indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profits or in any manner what-so-ever to the present or the past members of the society or to any person claiming through any one or more of the present or the past members. No members of the society shall have any personal claim on any movable or immovable property of the society or make any profits what-so-ever by virtue of this membership.
